I've been out of work for three months and it's been pretty tough. I put in ALOT of applications for jobs every week. I have found that alot of jobs posted on Craigslist are scams to get your credit information. It's frustrating but I keep praying that I will find something soon.
For now, I'm doing little things to make money online. I'm not living high on the hog so I won't lie to you - but at this point, every little bit of income helps in its own little way. Here I will share with you the things I do to make a little bit of money online.
Opinion Outpost - take surveys with Opinion Outpost and earn points for each survey you take. Each point is worth $1 and you must accumulate 50 Opinion Points ($5.00) before redeeming. Not only can you cash out, but you also have the opportunity to win sweepstakes, instant wins, or donate to charity. You can cash out via Amazon.com Gift Cards, or a check. You can also earn more money by referring your friends. Click the banner below to join.
Surveys.com is ran by GfK. You can earn points and rewards, but there are not affiliate links.
Surveyhead is my favorite survey site right now. The payments vary but you can cash out once you reach $25.
InboxDollars takes awhile to build up money unless you are taking offers. I still like InboxDollars because it's easy to earn money just by reading emails, and you can even make money by playing online games. They also offer surveys that you can take for more money. You can refer your friends too! You also get $5 when you sign up! Click the banner below to join:
SnapDollars is another paid email service that is easy to use. Like InboxDollars above, you make more for completing offers, playing games, and taking surveys. You also get $5 just for signing up. You can also refer your friends. Click the banner to join:
Paid Blog Posts
You're seeing me write more paid posts here than ever before, because I need money! SocialSpark by IZEA has a great program that you can sign up for if you're a blogger. You fill in information about your site and you start getting opportunties in your email. You have the option to take an opportunity, or not, and if you do take the opportunity, you have 12 hours to post it on your site, and you will get paid 30 days from when the post is approved. Payments are made via PayPal.
Get Paid to Tweet
Are you on Twitter? If not, my friend Robyn of Robyn's Online World has a great post about getting started with Twitter.
You can get paid to tweet via two platforms: MyLikes and Sponsored Tweets, run by IZEA. Both of these offer referrals too. MyLikes pays weekly every Friday evening for balances over $2 via PayPal. Sponsored Tweets pays you after you accumulate $50 via PayPal.
Click either (or both!) badges to sign up for these awesome services!
Write articles online for money
Currently, I write for the Examiner.com. You get paid on the Examiner.com articles you write, by traffic, and by having topics relative to your local area. You can also get paid to write for Suite 101 and eHow. I know there's more, so if you know of any more, leave a comment.
If you have a website or a blog, you can sign up to run affiliate ads on your site. There are so many programs out there, but the main ones I work with are Google AdSense, Amazon.com Affiliates, Share-A-Sale, Comission Junction, as well as independent ads.
Here's some other avenues I use as affiliate marketing:
PayPal rewards you if you refer businesses and users.
Cellfire ecoupons offer an affiliate marketing program. They contacted me to sign up, so I don't know if you can sign up on the site or not.
Get paid to search
Using Swagbucks. Swagbucks is an online dollar that can be traded in for PayPal credits, prizes, and sweepstakes! You also get bonuses for referring people and every time they win, you do too! It's easy to win with email codes, codes in the Swagbucks toolbar, by taking daily polls, and with Mega Swag Bucks Fridays! Also keep an eye on their Twitter and Facebook pages for bonus codes!

Get paid to shop
If you sign up for Ebates, for every purchase you make, you can earn cash back. Each store's percentage is different, but it all adds up! Payments can be made via check or PayPal. I wrote a post about how I saved money shopping at JCPenney.com through Ebates, with a $10/$10 purchase coupon that they regularly release! I used a code for Father's Day at JCPenney.com (through Ebates, of course!) about a week and a half ago, and scored a great pair of St. John's Worry-Free pants for about $11! (I saved about $35!)
Did I mention that Ebates also gives you $5 when you sign up?!
MyPoints sends emails with offers you can sign up for to earn points, or you can just click a link in the email to earn a smaller amount of points. Earn more points by referring friends via Facebook and email. If you'd like to join, please email me so I can refer you!
