Today marks the 3rd anniversary of my birth mother's death. I miss her dearly, but I know that she is watching over us!

That's so true. Losing someone is painful but accepting it will somehow ease the pain but the most beautiful comfort is praying to the Lord God for the comfort. I'm glad that you were able to cope up even though I know its hard.
