Recently, we were given the opportunity to try out The Shandle. As a mom of 3, who is fully aware of germs and all of the places they like to hide (in plain sight!), I just knew that we needed this product in our home!
About The Shandle:
The Shandle is a utility product that encourages children to "wash their hands after going to the bathroom". The product, containing an anti-microbial handle, sticks to the toilet seat and has playful designs and messages that remind children about good hygiene in addition to preventing children from ever having to touch the germ filled toilet seat. The perfect message to children to aid in the fight against the H1N1 Virus. It's available exclusively through their web store: www.theshandle.com
It was easy to install The Shandle. My daughter and I thoroughly cleaned the toilet, then dried it, and I peeled off the red tape protecting the sticky part of The Shandle, and I firmly pressed it onto the toilet seat for 30 seconds. After that, we waited the 24 hours and we were ready to use The Shandle!
Ever since we've had The Shandle in our home, it's been a reminder to the kids to wash their hands and protect themselves from germs. With the recent outbreak of H1N1, I'm ecstatic that we have a product in our home that reminds my children to wash their hands! It's even better that they can use The Shandle to protect themselves from the germs that are already on the toilet!
I personally love the simplicity of this product, as well as the gentle reminder. I recommend this product to anyone with any children of any age in their household!
