Review & Giveaway: Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites
Wednesday, April 15, 2009
Mmmm.... Romano's Macaroni Grill! (Are you drooling yet?!)
We have a Romano's here but it's too far for me to go get some dinner at, so thank God the new Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites are available at your local grocer!
Thanks to MyBlogSpark I got to try one of their meals and I also received the "What's for Dinner Gift Basket" in the picture above!
I received the Creamy Basil flavor, and boy, did I know that I was in for a treat!
I had some Italian flavored chicken breasts in the freezer, so I defrosted those as I thought they would suit the Creamy Basil flavor.
I started out by cooking the chicken (I didn't cut it up like the box suggests):
I boiled the noodles while the chicken was cooking:
And when it was done, this is what it looked like:
(ARE YOU DROOLING NOW?!)
Mmmm... this was sooo scrumptious! The kit contained some sun-dried tomatoes which I LOVE! It was creamy and full of flavor. I added some Pepperidge Farm 5 Mozzarella & Parmesan Garlic Bread, and that topped off an already perfect meal! This will definitely be in my lunch bag tomorrow!
For more information and to print a coupon for $1 off one of the meals, please check out Restaurant Favorites At Home.
Would you like to win one? Well I have a treat for you! THREE Lucky winners will each win one of the "What's for Dinner" gift baskets pictured above which includes a coupon for a free box of Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites!

I run out of creative ideas for dinners. I always make the same things.
April 15, 2009 at 10:16 PM
Without a doubt, my biggest problem is coordinating everything to come out on time. I have a pet peeve about everything being ready at once. Lame, I know!
April 15, 2009 at 10:30 PM
My biggest issue is keeping the littlest one entertained while I attempt to come up with something different to make for dinner!!
April 15, 2009 at 10:30 PM
My biggest struggle is motivation. After I work so hard all day at work I just want to come home and rest or play!

Thank you!

My biggest problem...is finding something my picky toddler will eat! honestly, she eats the same things for dinner every night because that's all she'll take! She loves pasta though, so i thik these would be a hit!

My biggest struggle is using a recipe but only making enough food for 2 of us. It seems I always end up with recipes that want to feed an army... and I am ok with left overs for one night but when you eat the same exact thing for 3 or 4 nights it gets to be too much.
Thanks,

Menu planning. When I am consistent, and plan ahead, things go so much smoother. When I procrastinate, I wander around the kitchen at 5:30 pm, hoping for brilliant ideas and end up ordering pizza.
Terrific giveaway. Thanks!

My biggest challenge(s) in preparing family dinners are: (1)trying to balance the time I have after work to prepare the meal versus the times we also have late afternoon and evening commitments and also (2) preparing healthy dinner items we should eat versus the items that other family members w-i-l-l (gladly) eat without protesting!

I think the motivation to cook every single night is my biggest struggle. I get tired of doing it - sometimes just want to give the kids a bowl of cereal. :)

My biggest struggle with preparing dinner is foreseeing all of the dishes I have to clean when it's over! Not having a dishwasher = zero fun!! ;)

I have a couple struggles with dinner: First, I seem to get stuck in a rut sometimes and I just make the same boring things over and over. Second, my hubby was recently diagnosed with Celiacs Disease, so I'm having to re-learn how to cook everything so that he can have it. (Thank heavens for gluten free pasta! Without it, we'd starve!)
Thanks for this great giveaway! The hubby can't have this yummy pasta, but I can make it for myself while he's gone at work!!!

My biggest struggle with preparing dinner for your family is finding the time to prepare a quick and delicious meal with the short amount of time I have in the evening.

May 2, 2009 at 8:41 AM
With 2 teenage boys, 1 teenage daughter, and 2 20 something's in this house - I feel like a short order cook at a diner. Finding something, just one something that they would all be willing to eat is always chore 1 for me when it comes to dinner time. I know when we had Macaroni Grill semi-near us (Pallisades Mall, NY) it was one of our favorites.
So, seeing that they have these great dinners I think is gonna make some of my dinner nights so much easier.
