5 day long headache!!!

Sunday, September 2, 2007

Yes, you read right!!! I am on the 5th day of my headache!!! I'm flipping out!!! I've been taking Excedrin migraine for all of those days but it's really starting to worry me because I've taken at a maximum, 8 a day!!! The bottle I bought on Thursday is almost gone... I need a painkiller so I think I'll be on the lookout for one of those!
I just started a new job too, so the neurologist that I put off seeing because I had stopped getting the migraines, back in July, I can't see until after October 1st... now I'm kicking myself!!! and my boyfriend says "You should have gone to see the neurologist!"
YOU KNOW that I DON'T want to hear that!!! Especially now!!!
So... this headache is going to hinder anything that I may or need to get done between now and tomorrow evening when I have to get ready to go back to work... but I do have to do some laundry and mop the kitchen floor so I'll squeeze those in at some point, probably after I take the last of my Excedrin migraine pills...
Have anything fun planned for tomorrow? (Labor day) I'm going to head over to a friend's house, one I used to work with... I LOVE her!!! She's Puerto Rican and oh so funny. I've never met her boyfriend so I'll finally get to meet him, after like 3 years! Wanda and I used to work together and I really haven't seen her since this time last year, when I left that job...
well I guess I'm going to close this post for now. Maybe I'll stop back by later.
Kisses!

Rest of my cards made on Aug. 31st, 2007

Friday, August 31, 2007

My last post said I didn't have any memory left so I am uploading the rest of my cards into a new post.

I think there's only two cards remaining...

Here's one:

I like this one better than the one I had on the last post, but I'm not happy with the coloring job on this one.

Here's the last card I made today:

K, thanks for stopping by and viewing my cards! TA TA!!!

Cards made on August 31st

Here's my favorite card I made today. I LOVE IT!!!

I started out with a 4.25" X 5.5" size yellow cardstock and I used "Sweet" from So Very to make my own background in Summer Sun and Basic Black. I stamped the bees on a 2" X 3" piece of white cardstock and colored them in with a yellow pencil, and stamped "Sweet" again in BB and SS sideways. On the black cardstock, I stamped Sweet in BB again for another background, wrapped it with a white with black polka dots ribbon and adhered another piece of White CS to the top of that and I stamped "All you need is love" from Inkadoo, from Michael's. I plan on giving this to a friend who has been very Sweet to me!

Here's my next favorite card:

when I make cards and they are normal sized, I like to use up the paper, so the yellow from the last card i posted, was the reason for this card being yellow. I love this sentiment so I framed it with some flowers from one of my Fiskars clear stamp sets and then punched out some flowers and added stickles and some ribbon for more oomph....

Here's the NEXT favorite one, and is also for the Sketch challenge over at SCS this week:

and here's the next one:

here's another:

And ANOTHER:

I'm going to post this one as a WT129... and the next one too...

But apparently I'm out of memory so I'll have to start a new post....

wow!!!

Cards made on Aug. 25th, 2007

Sunday, August 26, 2007

I made this card for someone who is expecting. (But I can't name here because not everyone knows yet!!)

Here's one I made for my friend who turned 30 yesterday.
And another friend had a birthday on the same day, so here's her card.
I'm horrible about posting the recipes but if you go to my gallery on SCS, you can see it there! I'm way pressed for time today! I start a new job tomorrow, the kids start school tomorrow, and we went school shopping today, as well as grocery shopping, and dishes need to be done and food needs to be cooked!! Talk to you all soon!

Baby card I should have posted a long time ago!!!

Saturday, August 25, 2007

I made this card as a request from a co-worker who wanted a baby card for their grandchild who was due. I think I made this in the end of July, and am just now getting around to posting it! (It's been a crazy summer!!!)

I used the Cuttlebug that my other two co-workers got me for my birthday on July 21st. I have only used the Cuttlebug twice, isn't that terrible?!??!?!

Here's the envelope I made for the card. I used my friend's die cuts and put them on the card as well as the envelope, because I was too lazy to stamp the envelope...

Cards I stamped 14 Jul 07

Sunday, July 15, 2007

The pic doesn't give the card any justice, but it's very pretty! the bottom is vellum paper attached with red gem brads and stamped with "Happiness". The red stamps were stamped with my new Clear stamps by Fiskars. This is the love set. I threw away the "baggie" they came in so I don't have the name! Sorry~~

I rounded the corners of my white layer paper, and attached the sentiment to the bottom.

Here's the next one I made:

For this card, I used those pretty SU papers but I don't know the names of them because they were given to me by my coworker! I already had a stamped "happy" vellum so I decided to use it on this card~ (I'm so into vellum right now!)

The stamp sets I used are Happy Everything and Summer by the Sea, and I just colored the image with colored pencils.

Here's the next one I made:

The one I made for my boyfriend, but actually, within the last hour, I took the copper frame object off of the card and just left the alpha sliders and the brads on the ribbon.

I made him a card before that was red and pinks so I wanted to make him something that wasn't too girlie.

The inside I stamped the inside (on white paper) with You're Sweet and the musical heart notes from the Mini Mates set, with SU Basic Black.

Now for the next one:

Out of the 5 cards I made yesterday, this is my favorite! I didn't pay enough attention to this week's color challenge, so I may have to make up for that later. I used none of the right colors! (I think I actually just thought it was supposed to be brights.... ... anyway)

But I used red cardstock for the base of the card and then cut a smaller piece of yelow, and incorporated my striped vellum that my boyfriend's mother gave to me, stamped the vellum with Wonderful in Brilliant Blue, and then puches out the tiny flowers on the bottom of the yellow cardstock, and used those (along with some white ones) on top on the vellum. Then I used the yellow stickles that my other coworker just got me, as the middles of the flowers. I used to blue rhinestone brads to fasten the vellum to the yellow cardstock, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should have left that off? (Comment me with your suggestions!)

Here's the fifth and final card I made yesterday:

Once again, this is that cool SU paper that I don't know what it is but these are the pink and blue ones. I had stamped the image of the boy a long time ago, when I borrowed Summer by the Sea from my one coworker, Marge Sexton, also listed in the beginning of this last post, and who took me with her to the Stamp-a-Stack on Friday evening... then I stamped some vellum in Close to Cocoa, So Very Sweet. I colored the little boy and his sandcastle and was done.

Thanks for looking at my blog! Now off to do some laundry and some dishes! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Still playing catch up!

Okay, I'm trying to post all of the cards that I have made in the last month, because I had computer issues! So here's more! I made these on Thursday night and yesterday. These are the cards a friend of mine asked to me to make her so I made 8 already (I don't think I uploaded all of the pics yet though) and have 2 left!

Yup, going through my cell phone photo album, I didn't take pics of the ones I made yesterday, so I'll take those later and upload them later or tomorrow! After this, I am posting the other miscellaneous cards that I made around the May 5th/13th timeframe.
